Apple sets cutoff time for getting fastest iPhone Duo pre-order

iPhone Duo pre-orders start tomorrow, and if you want the fastest checkout possible, Apple just set the deadline for completing its ‘Get Ready’ process.

iPhone Duo buyers can ‘Get Ready’ for pre-order until tonight at 9:00 p.m. PT

Rumors indicate the iPhone Duo could be in short supply when it first launches. So if you’re hoping to get an iPhone Duo on day one, you’ll want to pre-order tomorrow morning.

iPhone Duo pre-orders open Friday, October 16 at 8:00 a.m. ET / 5:00 a.m. PT.

And like Apple did for iPhone 18 Pro, there’s a window of time during which you can start the pre-order process in advance for the fastest checkout possible.

Apple knows it can be frustrating when your pre-order takes too long and you miss out on day-one delivery. So with its ‘Get Ready’ process, you can make all your pre-order selections in advance.

Inside the Apple Store app or on Apple’s website, you’ll find the option to start the iPhone Duo pre-order process now. Once you save all your selections, completing the pre-order will go much faster tomorrow morning.

But there’s a deadline for making your selections in advance. Apple just announced that iPhone Duo shoppers need to complete the ‘Get Ready’ process before 9 p.m. PT on Thursday, October 15.

Not sure why this is a U.S. only thing... would be useful in other markets.

So if you’re in the Eastern time zone, you have until midnight tonight.

If you’re still trying to decide between Star White or Night Sky, or unsure on storage needs, or whether you plan to purchase or lease, it’s time to make those decisions now.

After completing the ‘Get Ready’ process, you’ll be able to complete checkout in mere seconds once pre-orders go live tomorrow.
